INTRODUCTION:

LEVITRA is a prescription medication that may be used up to once a day to treat erectile dysfunction (ED), also known as male impotence.

Men who suffer from angina (commonly referred to as chest paid) and who use nitrate drugs should not take LEVITRA. In addition, men with high blood pressure or prostate problems who are taking alpha-blockers should also not take this drug. A mixture of these medications could cause blood pressure to fall to an unsafe level. Headache and a stuffy or runny nose are the most common types of side effects. If an erection continues for more than four hours then the patient should seek immediate medical attention. LEVITRA does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases. Any man who's doctor determines that their health is at risk during sexual activity should not take this medicine.

Keep in mind, your personal physician or local healthcare provider is the single best source of information regarding you and your health. Please consult your doctor if you have any questions about your health, your symptoms, or your medication.
